Samsung Social Service Policy
The Samsung Social Service (hereinafter the “Social Service”) Policy refers to the standards by which the Social Service is operated. This is in case issues arise while you use any of the features and services provided by the Social Service. Please read this policy carefully as non-compliance may result in disadvantages to you with regard to your use of the Social Service.
Any issues not specified in this policy are subject to the Samsung Service Terms and Conditions and applicable laws and regulations.
1. Information Regarding Prohibited Activities
1) If you engage in any of the activities specified below while using the Social Service, your use will be restricted and any relevant content will be deleted without any notice.

Posting and/or sharing any of the following content: (a) content that may make others feel sexually ashamed, such as a graphic description of sexual activity, or cause distorted views of sex; (b) violent or explicit content that may be perceived as brutal or repulsive by others; (c) content that is intended to deceive others, such as by assuming someone else’s identity or spreading false information; and (d) content that causes others to feel disgust or discomfort through repeated, excessive use of swear words, slang, etc.
-. Posting and/or sharing content that depicts children or adolescents as sexual objects.
-. Posting and/or sharing content that is perceived by others as unpleasant, brutal, or repulsive due to its anti-human or anti-personal nature (e.g. any violation or abuse involving humans and animals).
-. Posting and/or sharing any of the following content: (a) content that has been proven to be a direct risk due to its association with a crime (e.g. performing, instigating, or abetting any activity prohibited by applicable laws and regulations or subject to criminal punishment); (b) content that promotes, advertises, or sells goods or services prohibited from being promoted, advertised, or sold by applicable laws and regulations; and (c) content that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or violates someone else’s rights (e.g. an insult, invasion of privacy, or defamation).

Posting and/or sharing any of the following content: (a) content that poses a clear and direct physical threat to someone; (b) content that encourages or recommends self-harm or suicide; (c) content that reveals someone else’s undisclosed personal information, such as their profile, private life, etc.; (d) content that consistently bullies or harasses someone; (e) content that offers, lures, arranges, or forces prostitution; and (f) content that poses a direct and serious threat to public safety.
-. Posting and/or sharing content that may provoke discrimination against or stereotyping of gender, region, disability, etc.
-. Posting content with malicious intent or for commercial purposes on the Social Service and/or sharing it.
- Posting and/or sharing content that makes use of any of the features provided by the Social Service in an abnormal fashion, such as using an automation program, or that does not meet the objectives of the Social Service.
-. Posting and/or sharing content that is not in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, disturbs social order, or threatens public order and morality.
2) If you perform any of the activities specified below while using the Social Service, your use of the Social Service may be restricted.
- Performing any activity that negatively affects the infrastructure of the Social Service by using automation programs, such as macro programs, bots, scrapers, and snipers, or using other unspecified or unauthorised methods.
- Falsely assuming the identity of a specific company, executive, administrator, etc.
- Hindering normal operation of the Social Service.
- Performing any activity that is not in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, disturbs social order, or threatens public order and morality.
2. Information for Inactive Social Service Users
-. If you do not use any of the features provided by the Social Service for 12 months or longer, in order to protect your personal information within the Social Service and secure service resources, any content that you have shared with others or others have shared with you within the Social Service, as well as your personal information, will be destroyed completely in an irrecoverable manner. Your use of the Social Service will also be restricted. (Note that “use any of the features provided by the Social Service” means your accessing, uploading, and downloading your content and personal information, as well as sharing content with other members and other members sharing content with you.)
-. It is your responsibility to back up or save the content that you have used within the Social Service and your personal information before they are destroyed. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is not liable for any loss or damage caused by your not backing up or saving such content and personal information.
-. Moreover, if your Samsung account becomes deactivated or if you delete your Samsung account, the Social Service will destroy your content and personal information in an irrecoverable manner, terminating your use of the Social Service.
3. Information Regarding Changes in the Features Provided by the Social Service
-. The features provided by the Social Service are subject to change without prior notice due to changes in the Samsung Social Service Policy or other related matters.
